List of potential Scholarships for Master students in Global Urban Health

Unfortunately, the University of Freiburg does not currently offer any financial support or scholarships for our Master's degree program.
International students have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship at various institutions: For example, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), denominational or party-affiliated foundations, or business-oriented organizations. We would like to ask interested persons to endeavor for financial support in advance:

DAAD
Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst / German Academic Exchange Service

In the DAAD scholarship database you will find information on the different types of funding as well as information on the requirements and the application:
  • There is no fixed age limit for DAAD scholarships.
  • In some cases, the last academic degree may last only a certain time.
  • Language skills: If the study programme is taught in English, proof of good Englsh language skills may be accepted.
  • Example for DAAD Scholarships: DAAD-Promos (for internships or research for the thesis abroad)
