M.Sc. Global Urban Health

Global Health is the health of populations in a global context and transcends the perspectives and concerns of individual nations; it is about worldwide improvement of health, reduction of disparities and protection against global threats that disregard national borders.

Advanced Modules / CAS

The short courses or “Certificates of Advanced Studies” offered by the Centre for Medicine and Society (ZMG) at the University of Freiburg give participants the opportunity to update knowledge, deepen specific fields of interest or gain and amplify specific research or intervention skills on their area of profession. They are usually 5 week courses of fulltime attendance from Monday to Friday at the University of Freiburg.
